The couple got engaged on February 18, 2023, in Dubai, where they celebrated Valentine’s Day. They have been dating for over six years and have kept their relationship low-key.
However, on May 10, 2023, Karan and Drisha made their first public appearance as a newly-engaged couple.
They were spotted walking on the sidewalk in the city, twinning in black outfits. Karan wore a black t-shirt with graphic prints and grey shorts, while Drisha donned a black t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. They also wore matching black sunglasses, a sling bag, and sandals.
Karan Deol is the elder son of Sunny Deol and his wife, Pooja Deol. He started his career as an assistant director in the 2013 film “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2”, which starred his father and grandfather, Dharmendra.
He made his acting debut in 2019 with the film “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas”, directed by his father and produced by his grandfather. He received positive reviews for his performance and is considered one of the most promising actors in Bollywood.
Drisha Acharya is based in Dubai, where she works as a manager in a travel agency. She is the great-granddaughter of Bimal Roy, one of the most influential directors in Indian cinema.
